Our story

Why we built this

Agritourism is the rare business where the product is a day well spent: a corn maze at dusk, a wagon ride through the orchard, a wedding under the old oak, a glass of estate wine on the porch. The farms and vineyards that host those days are some of the warmest small businesses there are, and some of the hardest to find in one place.

Most hosts stitch the season together by hand: a card reader at the gate, a paper sign-up sheet for the U-pick, a Facebook page for the hours, a separate inbox for wedding inquiries. When a hard frost or a washout weekend hits, there is no easy way to reach everyone who booked.

Farm Country Hubs covers the whole agritourism world, from pumpkin patches and Christmas tree farms to wineries, cideries and farm stays. Every farm gets a free listing. Add yours and one dashboard runs the season: a website, timed tickets with a cap per slot, memberships, and one message that reaches everyone booked when the weather turns.

What we believe

  • Book a day on the farm

U-pick slots, tours and tastings are dated offerings with their own times, sold online.

  • Capacity that holds

Each time slot has a cap and stops selling when it fills, so the parking lot holds on the first Saturday in October.

  • One message to everyone booked

A hard frost or a washout? Cancel the day and everyone who booked hears about it, or email your whole customer list at once.

  • Members, not just visitors

Sell a recurring membership, like a wine club or a season pass, billed automatically, with a pass members show at the gate.

The network

Part of the Great Outdoor Hubs network

Great Outdoor Hubs is the company behind a family of outdoor activity sites and one free app, GoHubs. Our work starts with data. Trails and forest roads, rivers and live gauges, tides and marine forecasts, public land, campgrounds and fish stocking all come from the agencies that publish them, and we keep the source attached.

Then we make it useful. The same data runs the maps, conditions, planners and listings on every site, and goes into the field with the GoHubs app, whose GPS tracks keep recording with no signal. Every site shares one platform, so a tool built for one activity reaches the rest.

Outdoor businesses get the other half: one dashboard for their listing, website, bookings, waivers, customers and marketing, plus their own hub inside GoHubs. It is written in plain words for people who would rather be outside than at a desk, and their subscriptions are what keep the maps and tools free for everyone else.
